What are some reasons why Americans do not purchase medical insurance other than the cost?

Q: Lets visage it, medical insurance is expensive and is the number one reason why most Americans cannot afford health care coverage. While many employees can purchase constitution insurance through their job, other employees cannot purchase health coverage if they are self employed or work at an employment purlieus that does not provide health coverage.
In your opinion, what would you say are reasons why Americans do not umpire fix to purchase medical insurance other than the cost of getting health care?

With that said, many people sense why should they waste their money on an insurance policy that won't even cover 1/4 of a doctors visit.

Q: I'm booming to be moving to Australia from Canada for about 1 year. I want to know if it is cheaper to buy make a trip insurance from Canada for Australia, or if it is cheaper to buy the insurance for medical while I am in Australia. Also, if it is better to get it in Canada, can you suggest some companies that have sane rates?
