--- It's candidly, there are some credit cards that offers travel insurance, however you must purchase your flight tickets using their commendation card to avail of this insurance. I advise you to contact your credit card provider to substantiate if they have this feature.

Travel insurance for gift flights?
Feb 10, 2008 by tonymontana | Posted in Air Travel
Q: My trouble and I have paid for flights for her parents to come and visit us in the UK this year ( they live in the US ). They are hoary, so we'd like to have insurance in case they have to cancel for any reason. However, our travel insurance only covers ourselves - can we get insurance for my inlaws that would pay out for the outlay of the flights, even if they didn't originally pay for them?
A: You can buy Shove off Only Travel Cover.
Be careful though as some insurers will only cover you for one way or just return flights.
Check with who underwrites the protocol whether it will cover people from another country though as it could be very complicated to buy it for them in this country, especially if they need to pretence of a claim, also purchase the excess waiver if available as it waivers any excess demand should they need to claim.

Will travel insurance cover flights paid for by another?
Oct 29, 2008 by rutheeeepie | Posted in Insurance
Q: I'm wayfaring to SE Asia next year and am about to book flights. I don't have a credit card yet, but want to book my flights on one as I discern this will mean they're covered under the consumer credit act if the company goes bust, so I'm planning on using my mum's greetings card and giving her a cheque. However, if I have to cancel for some other reason (which would be covered by travel insurance if I'd paid myself), will the fact that they were bought on my mum's press card cause any problems?
Thanks.
A: I am large booking hotels, flights, car rentals all on different credit cards for the reason that each has singular deals, points, miles etc. And I am buying Travel Insurance on a different CC, the one which has direct cash rewards. I’ve never had a uncontrollable with it.

Travel insurance for Easyjet flights?
Nov 07, 2009 by jennywilson1334 | Posted in Air Travel
Q: Hi-if I fly with Easyjet do I have to use their insurance companion,Mondial-or can I buy my travel insurance from a different provider?
I normally book online and buy their insurance automatically-but i booked the flights by phone this experience and was told I have to buy the insurance online.
thanks
A: You are at unseemliness to purchase travel insurance from whoever you wish. Like many airlines Easyjet do include insurance in the booking transform, for the convenience of those wishing to take it. You have the option to remove it easily when booking on-line, however. Himself, I have annual insurance as a regular traveller.

I am looking for high risk flight only travel insurance for my parents for their trip from uk to oz.?
Feb 24, 2008 by zena t | Posted in Air Travel
Q: Dad has very recently been put on blood problems tabs (for high BP.....probably brought on by this trip) He can only get insurance once hes been stable for 3 months. They still hunger to come in 2 weeks time, is there anyone who will insure flight only. Or do they fly uninsured ? (he is steadfast now) does anyone know what the likely costs are if he is taken ill during the flight?
A: They can fly uninsured but if they want medical treatment, they will have to pay for it. I do not know the costs of medical treatment because the pilot will deflect the plane to the nearest airport if urgent medical treatment is required - the rate of medical treatment will therefore depend on the country providing the treatment.

Shipping furlough gifts, recreational equipment or hefty vacation purchases separately can be a helpful and hassle-free alternative
ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Travelers should be opinion about less cumbersome and possibly less expensive methods of getting their vacation "stuff" where it needs to go, now that most airlines are charging again fees for a second piece of checked luggage, or even a first piece in some cases, AAA says.
"For many consumers, travel over includes the need to transport sporting equipment, holiday gifts or the fruits of shopping excursions either to or from a vacation end," said Tom Wilt, managing director of AAA Partnership Programs. "Now that most airlines are dispiriting to maximize revenue by charging an extra $10 or $20 per checked memo, travelers should be re-examining the best ways of getting what they need, where they need it."
"Relinquishing your view on a favorite tennis racket or fishing rod may be unnerving for some, so go ahead and take these items with you on the airplane; above all if they will fit your carrier's policy regarding carry-on luggage or can be packed in an oversized be upset of checked luggage," Wilt said. "If knowing your favorite lump of equipment is on the flight with you is not a priority, however, shipping ahead may make sense. This is because things that may fit in a third bag or a box such as feast gifts or backpacking gear not only add to the cost of a trip, but are frequently an ongoing juggling ultimatum when getting to and from the airport."
The map was to list our tour to Europe in January. But I started shopping around, and I found an remarkable apportion this month. I talked with a baby of mine (an dab hand in London travel who runs the Anglotopia blog). He said in his incident tickets aren’t no doubt to get much cut than this. So I unconditional to go up ahead and libretto now!
Here are some things I discovered during the booking manage that helped us scrape some monied:
Fly on the weekdays.
Initially, we were planning to fly out on a Friday. But after comparing fares, we stony to foray our departure back to a Wednesday. We’ll also be flying adept in on a Wednesday. This reduced our downright journey charge by about $300.
Reserve oecumenical flights at primary airports.
When we first started planning our skip, we trace we would be flying out of Raleigh. Now that we’re poignant back to Indiana in the inception of May, we were masterful to earmark our Freudian slip out of Chicago. This substitution saved us another $300-$500.
Regulations your dismiss and motor hotel together.
I’ve always been skeptical about “vacation combination” offers on Expedia . However, as I planned to libretto this detonate, I did a lot of comparing and put together a lot of sundry combinations. It turns out, they’re not kidding about those vacation packages. We were accomplished to earmark nicer hotels than we could have afforded without the vacation enclose discounts. All together we saved about $400 on hotels.
Look at traveler opinions, not guest-house stock.
I typically don’t pay acclaim to guest-house grade when I’m booking. I at best hunger a unsullied breakfast in a advantageous laying. The 'No' reviews by other travelers on Expedia and TripAdvisor can take an oath you a lot about the caravanserai. Are other travelers complaining that the pillows weren’t wispy enough or the receptionist was a undersized makeshift? If that’s the worst squawk next to a ton of complete reviews, you’re shining. But if a lot of scrutiny say the caravanserai is mucky or located in a bad part of hamlet, I’ll move on. I’ve had truly authentic chance in the past booking hotels with 4-stars+ in traveler opinions.
