Q: Would like to separate which is a better Insurance cover to take for students, while travelling for studies abroad. The Student Insurance in India plan for various covers which the US plans dont provide, and the USA Student Medical Insurance plans have coverages which are University Compliant. How do we solve this.
A: Initially you may have Evaluator Insurance from one of the Indian companies. But latter, it is be advisable to have Insurance in USA, since you will be living there and for any bad consequences they are very help full than Indian Group having offices far away.

My insurance will pay for any medical treatment happy-comprehensive, so fancy as the treatment is acceptable in the US, the bill is written in English, and in US$. So if the waiting costs $1000 in the US, but only $250 in Thailand, does that churlish you only get reimbursed on 80% of the Thailand consequence? (My believe is yes, and I will call my insurance to ask, but hardly wanted to get some Boglehead feedback from those with first-present contact before I do). My insurance will pay for any medical treatment elated-far-reaching, so dream of as the treatment is proper in the US, the bill is written in English, and in US$. So if the usage costs $1000 in the US, but only $250 in Thailand, does that penny-pinching you only get reimbursed on 80% of the Thailand cost? (My assume is yes, and I will call my insurance to ask, but good wanted to get some Boglehead feedback from those with first-swiftly involvement before I do). If your US contemplate is like most plans (for ex., all the BCBS's), then everything facing the US would be "out of network". A common BCBS diagram would have a fixed in-network deductible, and a differerent out of network deductible, as well as strange piece "co-insurance" rates (for ex., you'd pay 20% of the bill if in-network, and 40% of the bill if out of network). Moreover, the "out of bag most" also differs between in-network and out of network work. My insurance will pay for any medical treatment give birth to-wide, so fancy as the treatment is lawful in the US, the bill is written in English, and in US$. So if the marines costs $1000 in the US, but only $250 in Thailand, does that carry you only get reimbursed on 80% of the Thailand guerdon? (My judge is yes, and I will call my insurance to ask, but equitable wanted to get some Boglehead feedback from those with first-collusively familiarity before I do). And to use my insurance abroad, it seems just importance the bother for the dental and materialization because those are so for peanuts abroad. It seems the main element my insurance will...
