Q: Hi, I am about to upon a new career path of selling suplimental insurance. this is a really big change for me. I no longer will be doing the 9-5, no longer on hourly pay, i am de facto nearvous and excited all at the same time. Any one got any good advice on how to survive in the commission/insurance happy?

You attitude always needs to be positive and upbeat, you will be more likely to take a "NO" if you are not in the feeling ready to "fight" for the "OK."
You need to be aware of the changes you will be making while earning $$ that does not have taxes with held (steer a course for sure you always put back a % of your commissions instead of just spending it... you still have to pay taxes in April)... You necessity to be a good book keeper for client files as well as your own files (bills, expenses, profits, car milage, car keep, and a good system for your prospecting)
You, darling, are taking on a hudge challenge to have never done this before... The first year is always the hardest and if you don't do well in the first year your time to come in the biz is a grim one...
MOST IMPORTANT:
