How do I calculate the rebuilding cost as compared to market value when requesting home insurance quotes?

Is the rebuilding fetch likely to be more or less than the market value?
My home building insurance is due for renewal and the quoted premium has finger up so I went on some price comparison sites for quotes. However they ask for the rebuilding cost. I have no idea about this although I cognizant of an approximate market value. I need to know I will have sufficient cover.
