Cheap quote for home contents insurance for tenants in common.?

Q: A beau and I have recently purchased a flat together as tenants in common. We only need home contents insurance. Buildings insurance is common with other flats in the block. Our current quote is £25 per month with Nationwide. We would like to recollect other companies who offer this type of insurance to see if we can get it any cheaper. n.b Confused.com does not allow tenants in low-class in their search.

A: Hi tick, Im a tenant in common and have insurance with Nationwide. I am not aware if TIC differs from other policies, married couples, for prototype. After all, its only the contents that are being insured.

Q: I have valid moved into my flat and would like to take out contents cover insurance (i am only renting the flat) what do i need my ways to include????

A: hi, i drudgery in household insurance and i would definately recommend that you get a policy with extended accidental damage deal with. policies cover a limited amount of a/d cover but it is not for things like carpets, which is why it would be happier to have a policy with extended a/d cover. if the flat has laminate flooring in it, that is considered under the buildings conduct so it would be down to your landlord.

taken out £40,000 insurance at legal and general for home contents coverage. the premium was less at £40,000

Q: than the quote was at £20,000! so i got it out at £40,000. this works out at £18.12p per month for my insurance and my contents are only working up to £700 at the most . have i donethe foul thing are there personal inner city insurers that would cover a smaller amount of loot? am i paying to much? have i messed up my insurance. please give me info and websites, telephone numbers of cheaper insures.
