social security income and paying health insurance premium?

Is health insurance mess the Government's way of handling Social Security deficits?

Q: If less people have access to proper, affordable health care, they will die sooner and not need social security as they age. The way health insurance is currently structured guarantees that, as heretofore goes on, fewer of us will be able to afford it, and therefore, go without. How can we fix this mess?

A: That is a very cynical way of looking at things! As for the way to clarify it, my view is a national health system would be best, but one allowing people to still have private health care if they so select.

I live in the UK and work in the NHS (our universal health care system). It has problems, but not as many as the US healthcare system has. Teeth of spending much more per head of population than other developed countries, the US has worse health outcomes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_take charge of #Economics Life expectancy and infant mortality figures in the US are worse than in other developed countries, consideration more money being spent (and wasted) in the USA.

In the UK there are waiting lists for routine problems. Problems that can not bide one's time are treated as emergencies. Also, in the UK, people can also have private health care.

I can understand Americans being proud of living in the richest and most energetic country in the world. What I can not understand is why Amercians settle for an expensive healthcare system where babies die that would have a better unintentional of life if born in another developed country.
