I just bought a second car. Dealer is calling me the next day to send proof of insurance.?

Q: I already showed them I have full coverage on my first car. I sold cars before and as big as they had proof of full coverage on the first car we never had our guest send proof for the 2nd car cause they have to have insurance to register their car anyway. Don't I have until the stopgap plate expires? Normally the dealers insurance is still covering the car till the tags exhale. Is this dealer just trying to get me to get it faster to rid itself of any possible liability?

Q: i purchased a toughened car, and the used car dealer put in the contract that I was also purchasing auto insurance thru them...but i wuld get a refund of those premiums when I provided a duplication of my own insurance. I never signed any other ionsurance forms with them. i did buy my own insurance later. But, is it legal for the used car delaer to over persuaded me insurance?
